Moves forward.
Following on from the Big Draw & my diagrammatic analysis of each iteration, I began investigating the three dimensional qualities of various iterations through mass modelling.
Investigation into floor sizes needed & adaptation from standard housing to co-housing unit.
ITERATION I
Knowing that the site was going to be accessed by a variety users, I explored the idea of breaking it down into zones to allow them variation to suit their needs, whether that be space or privacy, whilst providing the maximum external space.
One of the key issues that became apparent was that of degree of privacy given to the residents as I am blurring the boundary between public & private to create a more integrated community across all of Stretford.
