Initially, I had planned on working the Newton Street site because it offered more space to provide housing on.  However after collaging four iterations on the site, I felt that it was the large amount of space resulted in my programme becoming lost within the site. Additionally, I felt it was was illogical to attempt to create public space & not utilise Stretford Public Hall.  The iteration below is a compilation of my iterations on the site.
